Prolećno veliko spremanje

Svako proleće je novi početak i dobar povod za rekapitualciju proteklog perioda. Bilo je izazova, bilo je borbe i još smo na terenu! Sve u svemu, zadovoljni smo, nadamo se da je zadovoljstvo obostrano 🙂

Kako smo počeli – Car:Go početak je bio full zanimljiv! Sećamo se da smo prvog dana zaradili oko 100e u vožnjama, softver nije bio ni potpuno istestiran, ali radio je. Baš je bilo kul i pozitivno. Još jednom se zahvaljujemo svim gotivcima i vizionarima koji su nas u startu podržali 🙂

Šta smo napravili – Napravili smo neku priču, imamo brdo zadovoljnih korisnika koji nas preporučuju svojim prijateljima. Usavršili smo aplikaciju, bili pioniri pa postali lideri u internet plaćanju u Srbiji. Obezbeđujemo posao za oko 50 ljudi, a znamo da možemo još mnogo više posla da napravimo.

Sa kakvim problemima smo se suočili – Imali smo razne izazove, inspekcije nas nisu zaobišle, tehnoloski smo napravili malo čudo, nestajalo nam je para u nekoliko navrata i uvek smo našli rešenje. Cilj nam je da istrajemo i dokažemo da ovo čime se bavimo ima adekvatan ekvivalent u interesovanju ljudi.

Šta smo naučili – Naučili smo dosta toga, prvo da bez kvalitetnih ljudi ne može da se realizuje kvalitetan rezultat, da se na muci poznaju junaci, da nije lako nešto napraviti, ali da je još teze od napravljenog odustati, da se ne treba predavati, da ne treba koristiti PayPal, da izreka Lipsi mago do zelene vutre je definicija poslovanja preduzetnika, ali i saradnje sa bankama i državom. Naučili smo da je obećanje (da ne kažemo investicija) najjeftiniji poklon , da možemo onoliko koliko moramo.

Rezultati – Povećanje broja vožnji i vozača su rezultati napornog rada u protekle dve godine i sa ponosom možemo da kažemo da smo nakon skoro 50 hiljada preuzimanja, uspešno odradili preko 50 hiljada vožnji, usavršili softver tako da može da se poredi sa svim konkurentima širom sveta kad su u pitanju funkcionalnosti i jednostavnost korišćenja.

Novi projekti, pregovori sa partnerima – pregovori su uvek u toku, kako lokalno, tako i regionalno, CarGo ekipa sprema nešto sasvim novo…

Ko nas je podržao – mnogi pojedinci, vernici u tehnologiju, vernici u dobru priču, digital ekipa… Podržali su nas i naši poslovni klijenti koji su nas sa strpljenjem čekali na pickup location 🙂 Hvala svima! Posebno hvala hejterima.

Planovi za budućnost – Regionalni i panevropski razvoj, inovacija na tržištu prevoza i još bolje korisničko iskustvo, Car:Go je bila ideja, postao startup i grabi dalje da postane ozbiljna prica!

I da…podižemo cene – Da bi ih opet spustili! Naime, ova faza našeg razvoja zahteva minimalno povećanje cena (i dalje cemo biti jeftiniji od taksi prevoza) kako bi mogli da preusmerimo deo novca u dalji razvoj na trzištu, a glavni cilj nam je da se vratimo na stari cenovnik onda kada nas bude bilo znatno više na ulici. Naša procena je da će se to desiti u narednih 6 do 9 meseci. Detalje o podizanju cena (u Aprilu) ćemo pisati na našem blogu i našoj Facebook stranici.

Spring house cleaning

Every spring is a new beginning and a good reason for recap of previous period. There were challenges, there was a struggle and we’re still on the ground! Overall, we are satisfied, we hope it goes both ways 🙂

How we started – CarGo beginning was really interesting! We remember the first day we earned about 100 EUR in rides, the software was not thoroughly tested, but it worked. That was very cool and positive. Thanks again to all early adopters and visionaries who supported us from the start 🙂

What we did – we wrote a story, we have a mountain of satisfied customers who recommend us to their friends. We’ve perfected the application, were the pioneers and then became leaders in Internet payments in Serbia. We provide jobs for about 50 people, and we know we can do even more work.

What kind of problems we experienced – We had a variety of challenges, the inspection did not miss us, we made a little technological marvel, the money was late, missing and gone on several occasions and we always found a solution. Our goal is to persevere and prove that what we do has an adequate equivalent in the interest of people.

What we learned – we’ve learned a lot of things, first that without a good quality people you can not realize quality results, that heroes are sworn in troubles, that it is not easy to do something, but it is even more difficult to give up on it, to never give up, that you are not suppose to use PayPal, that far-fetched is the definition of entrepreneurship, but so is cooperation with banks and the state. We have learned that a promise (not to be mixed with an investment) is the cheapest gift and that we can as much as we have to.

Results – Increasing number of rides and drivers are the results of hard work over the past two years. With almost 50k downloads we are proud to say that we have successfully completed over 50k rides! We perfected the software, standing tall compared with all competitors around the world when it comes to functionality and simplicity of use.

New projects, negotiations with partners – negotiations are still in progress, both locally and regionally, CarGo team is preparing something new …

Who supported us – many individuals, believers in technology, believers in a good story, THE digital team … We were supported by our business customers who patiently waited at the pickup location 🙂 Thank you all! Special thanks to all the haters too.

Plans for the future – a pan-European and regional development, innovation in the transportation market and an even better user experience! Car:Go was an idea, became a startup and grabs on to become a serious story!

And yes, one more thing… we need to raise our prices – just to lower them again later! Specifically, this phase of our development requires a minimal increase in price (we’ll still be cheaper than a taxi) in order to redirect the money to further develop the market, and the main goal is to get back to the old price list when we be any significant the streets. Our assessment is that this will happen in the next 6 to 9 months. More details about the price increase (in April) we will write on our blog and Facebook page.
